Being such an important day for book lovers all over the world, we’re delighted to see that the Harry Potter series has made an appearance in several book polls released today. Harry himself made it into a list of top ten fictional orphans; the Harry Potter series was voted into first position in a poll of favourite books named by under 13s; and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has featured in the official World Book Day’s list of ‘50 Books That Will Change Your Life’.
